This December, we held our first annual calendar raffle. It was very successful! We sold a total of 677 tickets resulting in a profit of $6,770. Thank you to those of you who donated all the raffle prizes and those who purchased tickets! Winners are posted on our Instagram and Facebook pages

On September 14th, Buzz Robotics invited the Enfield community to Red Robin to order food, join raffles, and have a great time. Red Robin gave a percent of the proceeds to the Buzz team. In total we made $1104.44, $472 from donations/raffles, and $632.44 from food sales.

On October 27th, supporters gathered at the Enfield Annex where former Buzz parent and professional artist, Chris Gann, taught everyone how to paint pumpkin themed art. We also sold concessions and Buzz merch along with running a small raffle. We also hosted a cornhole competition where people played in random teams for a trophy and had lots of fun! In total, we made $1,713.96 between ticket and other sales. 

On October 27th, Buzz students, parents, and mentors traveled to Rentschler Field to help clean up the fields and the parking lots around the stadium. Equipped with gloves, trash bags, and trash pickers, we were able to finish quickly and earned $1200.

To fundraise money for Buzz Robotics, students and mentors have been collecting bottles and cans for the last year. We are excited to take advantage of the upcoming bottle deposit increase from 5 cents to 10 cents. We will continue to collect bottles and cans throughout the year.
